Five applicants for the FIFA Ballon d’Or are FC Spain's capital gamers. This Thursday at mid-day the 23 football players, such as Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernández , Andrés Iniesta, Gerard Piqué and Sergio Busquets, in the operating for the prize were revealed by FIFA. The name of the champion will be declared on Jan 7 during the Ballon d’Or Event in Zurich. The applicant - last three - will be revealed in Dec.

Leo Messi, Andrés Iniesta, Xavi Hernández and Gerard Piqué are once again among the 23 last contestants for the prize. The only Blaugrana applicant that is new to the record is Serigo Busquets.
It’s important to note that Leo Messi has won the last three versions of the Ballon d’Or, while Xavi Hernández completed third last season. Truly, the top three roles were loaded by Barça gamers (Messi, Xavi, Iniesta).
Guardiola among the ultimate contestants for Best Administrator
The ex-Barça manager Josep Guardiola is among the ten applicants to win the Best Administrator of the Year prize. Guardiola will deal with Del Bosque, Di Matteo, Ferguson, Heynckes, Klopp, Löx, Mourinho, Mancini and Prandelli.
